This game is a version of bingo that uses dice and color recognition.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bingo Markers
  • Colored Felt-tip Pens
  • Paper Bags
  • Spiral Notebooks
  • Dice
  • Paper bags
  1. Step 1

Give each player paper, colored felt-tip pens and bingo markers.

  2. Step 2

Have the players divide the papers into six columns. At the top of the columns, have them draw the six faces of a die.

  3. Step 3

Instruct the players to then divide each column into six boxes.

  4. Step 4

Choose 6 to 10 colors the players may use. Direct the players to color in the boxes using any of the selected colors, but using each color only once under each number.

  5. Step 5

Place the felt-tip pens in a bag.

  6. Step 6

Roll the die and draw out a pen.

  7. Step 7

Announce the number on the die and the color of the pen.

  8. Step 8

Tell players to place a bingo marker over a square if it's the color that was called and is under the number rolled.

  9. Step 9

Return the pen to the bag.

  10. Step 10

Roll the die again and draw out another pen.

  11. Step 11

Repeat steps 6 through 10 until there is a winner.

  12. Step 12

Declare a winner when a player fills an entire column (vertically, horizontally or diagonally) with bingo markers.

Tips & Warnings
  • Coins or buttons work well in place of bingo markers.
  • Use fewer colors to make the game quicker and easier for younger players.
  • Let younger children see the spots on the die rolled along with the color chosen so they can simply match them.
