How to Repair Flotation Foam
Floatation foam that has been damaged or punctured on a boat can be repaired by using a product called urethane foam. This is a 2-part substance that is mixed using a 1:1 ratio. This type of foam expands up to a 30:1 ratio when both parts of the foam are mixed together. To repair flotation foam, you will need to first prepare any damaged areas before mixing the urethane foam.
