How to Sync the Firefox and MobileMe Bookmark

How to Sync the Firefox and MobileMe Bookmark thumbnail
If you own a Mac, go to "System Preferences" and click the MobileMe icon for instant access.

Like other popular browsers, Firefox allows you to create bookmarks by clicking on the star in the address bar. The browser lists all current bookmarks in the Library, and displays selected bookmarks on the toolbar. MobileMe is an Apple service that stores all your personal information and lets you access it from different devices, but it has no current integration with Firefox. To sync MobileMe with Firefox, you need to download a free Firefox add-on that syncs bookmarks across multiple browsers and computers.

Tips & Warnings

  • To assign bookmarks to different computers, go to "Tools" in the main Firefox toolbar and select "My Xmarks" from the Xmarks menu. In the My Xmarks toolbar, click "Sync Profiles."

  • If you use multiple computers, MobileMe will notify you that there are changes in your data. You must select "Merge" to keep your newly synced bookmarks.
