How to Clean Dyed Satin Shoes
Dyed satin shoes are commonly worn at weddings, proms and other events when a perfect match with a dress is sought. You can have the shoes dyed professionally or dye them at home. The shoes accumulate buildup like any other shoes, including dirt, mud to spilled food. Wipe dust off of the shoes with a microfiber cleaning rag after each wearing.

Blot areas of residue or buildup with a damp microfiber rag when the dry rag does not work. Blot rather than rub so that you get rid of the residue without spreading it, which is a problem when you rub the fabric.

Add a drop of mild laundry detergent to the damp cloth and continue blotting until the buildup is gone.

Wipe with a damp cloth to remove the soapy residue.

Dry the satin shoes with a hair dryer on a low heat setting.
