How to Add Shortcuts to an HTC Touch Pro 2
The HTC Touch Pro 2 comes with Windows Mobile operating system and like other Windows Mobile devices, it is customizable. One of the most useful ways of customizing the Touch Pro 2 and making access to certain functions quicker is to add shortcuts to the home screen. Shortcuts are user-created links to various phone functions, such as the mail Inbox or a program.

Press the area of the screen that you want to add the shortcut to with your finger.

Hold your finger down for a few seconds until the "Add to Home" options menu appears.

Tap the "Shortcut" icon.

Scroll down and select the type of shortcut you want to add. The shortcut can be a bookmark, Gmail label, Mail Inbox, Music Playlist, Person, Program, or a shortcut to Settings.

Tap the icon for the shortcut to add the shortcut to your HTC Touch Pro 2. The shortcut appears on your home screen in the previously designated area.
