How to Play Leaf Pile Hunt

This game sends players burrowing through a pile of leaves to find a prize.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

• Pennies Or Small Prizes
• Bow Rakes
• Snow Shovels

1. Rake together a pile of leaves.
2. Show all the players a penny - or another prize that they will be hunting for.
3. Drop the prize into the pile and say "Go."
4. Watch the players dive into the pile and search through the leaves to find the prize.
5. Allow the player who finds the prize to keep it.

Tips & Warnings

• This game can also be played in a snowbank or pile of hay.
• Drop more than one prize to make the game more exciting.
• Try this game at a Halloween party.
• If children under 3 will be playing, use a larger object to avoid the possibility of them choking.
