How to Install Cheetah TurboSquish
TurboSquish is a print compression utility specifically designed to work with the TurboCat court reporting software produced by Cheetah International. With TurboSquish installed, TurboCat users have the option of printing multiple pages all on one sheet. This is an extremely helpful feature as the transcripts of court proceedings can be hundreds of pages in length. Although TurboSquish is specifically designed to work with TurboCat, it must be installed separately after the installation of the TurboCat software. Cheetah International provides documentation on how to install TurboCat and then install TurboSquish.

- HP II printer

Insert the TurboCat installation disk. Press "Install TurboCat 6.5." If the installation screen does not automatically appear, click "Start," "Run." Type in the drive letter for the disk drive followed by the word "Setup." Press "OK."

Press the space bar when the installation program displays "The setup program for TurboCat will now be run."

Enter a name for the work directory when prompted by the installation program and press the "Enter" key. Any name can be selected for the directory.

Press the space bar when the installation program states that setting the work directory is complete. When prompted to select an auto-start option, press the "I" key to have a TurboCat icon installed on the desktop. Press the "E" key to exit the installation program.

Insert the TurboSquish installation disk and follow the on-screen directions. Once successfully installed, an option for TurboSquish will appear in the TurboCat print dialog box. Ensure that the printer is connected to the computer before trying to use TurboSquish. The software will not appear in TurboCat without the printer being connected.
