How to Clip Nose Hair
Nose hairs may seem like a needless frustration, but in reality these little hairs serve important functions. They keep out debris, help improve your sense of smell and warm the air that you breathe in through your nose. Unfortunately, nose hair can become too long and stick out the bottom of your nostrils. This can make you look unkempt. Clean up using one of several options. Does this Spark an idea?

Clean out the inside of your nose by blowing it, washing out the base with a washcloth and gently cleaning out the lower portion with an ear swab. This will loosen any hairs that were stuck to the side of your nose.

Position yourself in an area that is well lit and were you can see the underside of your nose. A lighted mirror, typically used for makeup, is ideal for this task. If one is not available, choose a well-lit room with a mirror and a flashlight.

Turn on your nose hair trimmer and cut the hair that sticks out of the bottom of your nose. Move cautiously and remove only the hair that sticks out of the bottom of the nostril.

Touch up your trimming job by clipping the remaining hairs with a small pair of sharp scissors. If the scissors are dull, they will yank the hair out instead of cutting it.

Tips & Warnings
Do not pluck nose hairs. The inside of your nose can become infected or swollen.
Do not insert the ear swab very far into your nasal cavity.
Nicks and cuts can occur from using a nose trimmer or scissors.
