How to Remove Hello Guest From Zen Cart
A standard Zen Cart installation is equipped with many features, text, modules and layouts that you have the ability to edit or remove altogether. If you are at the stage of customizing your ecommerce store's homepage and you find the "Welcome Guest" message unnecessary or impersonal, you can quickly disable it through your administration panel with a few simple clicks.

Log in to your Zen Cart administration panel.

Navigate your mouse to hover over the "Configuration" section and click the "Layout Settings" link from the drop down menu.

Click the "Customer Greeting - Show on Index Page" link.

Select the radio button next to "0" to disable the customer greeting.

Click the "Update" button to save the changes.

Navigate to your store's homepage and refresh the page to verify that the "Welcome Guest" text is disabled.
