How to Use a Samsung Omnia as a Modem for Internet on a PC
The Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 has a built-in application for using the phone as a modem. You can connect a computer to the Internet using a USB or Bluetooth connection. Using a USB connection allows you to charge the Omnia's batteries while connecting to the Internet, while using a Bluetooth connection makes the batteries run down faster. However, you can plug the phone into a wall socket while using a Bluetooth connection.

If your Omnia is paired to your computer using Bluetooth, you can use the phone as a Bluetooth modem. Select "Bluetooth PAN" in Step 4 instead of USB.
Some carriers require additional software or an extra data feature on your account in order to use the Omnia as a modem. If you do not see an option for Connection Sharing, contact your carrier.
