How to Change the Camera Depth in Oblivion

Save

Bethesda's "Elder Scrolls: Oblivion" is a PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 game released in 2006. The game allows you to create your own character and adventure across the land of Cyrodiil. As you can customize your character extensively, it is understandable that some users would want to see the character while playing rather than just their weapons. With "Oblivion," Bethesda has included the ability to switch to a third person view and zoom the camera in or out.

PC Version

  • Hit the "R" key to switch to third person view.

  • Slide the mouse wheel backwards or forwards to zoom in or out. The camera position will stay this way until you change your view back to first person.

  • Hold down the mouse button and slide the camera left or right to rotate the camera view.

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions

  • Click and hold down the right stick to switch to third person view.

  • Press the left trigger on the 360 or the L2 on the PS3 while holding down the right stick to zoom in.

  • Press the right trigger on the 360 or R2 on the PS3 while holding down the right stick to zoom out.

  • Release the right stick once you have found a camera position you like.
