How to Connect a MacBook Pro to YouTube on an HDTV

Plug the adapter into the Mini DisplayPort on the left side of your MacBook Pro.

Insert one side of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the adapter.

Plug the other side of the cable into an "HDMI" port on your HDTV. Turn on the TV and press the "Input" button until the image from your computer appears on the screen.

Open a Safari window and visit YouTube.com. Click the "Display" icon on the MacBook Pro's menu bar and click "Mirroring" to display the image from YouTube on your screen.
