How to Change the Font Color on MySpace Picture Captions thumbnail
With basic HTML, you can add colorful captions to your MySpace photo albums.

MySpace profiles let you share text, images and video on the Internet. Your MySpace account supports HTML code and even some advanced CSS coding (see References 1, page 60). You don't need to be a programming guru to use some basic HTML to customize your photo galleries on MySpace. With just a little background knowledge, you can change the font color on any MySpace picture caption.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your MySpace account, and click on the "Photos" tab at the top of the main screen.

    • 2

Click "My Photos" and click through your albums until you find the picture and associated caption you want to edit.

    • 3

Click on the existing caption text. If you have not already added a caption, the clickable text reads "No Caption." When click on it, the text becomes editable. The text field supports HTML coding for caption colorization. You don't need to access any additional menus or modes to use HTML on most MySpace text fields. With the right coding knowledge, you can add HTML tags to most fields.

    • 4

Enter the following code into the picture's text caption: <font color="#000000"> (see References 2).

    • 5

Replace the six zeros with the appropriate hex color code. Each possible numerical hex code corresponds to a different unique color. You can find visual lists of all the hex colors and their codes on websites like Computer Hope (see Resources 1).

    • 6

Enter the caption text that you want to colorize.

    • 7

Type </font> once you reach the end of the colorized text (see References 2). You can colorize the entire caption or individual chunks. Anything within the <font color=> and </font> tags will be colorized, while the text outside of these tags remains the default black color.
