How to Do Colors in IRC
Internet relay chat (IRC) is a protocol that supports chat room-style instant messaging for groups of users. Users can connect to different public servers, which host groups and chat rooms. The IRC protocol also supports features, such as file transfer. A client, such as X-Chat, is needed to use the protocol. The software accepts commands that allow for bold, colored, italics and underlined text. These functions can be triggered by hotkeys.
