How to Search for Spotlight Plugins in WordPerfect OS X?

Mac OS X's "Spotlight" feature offers quick searching of not just a file name, but also phrases within the contents of a file. For instance, with some text programs it will scan every word you have saved in a document to perform a search. However, by default, WordPerfect is not one of these programs. However, Apple's Spotlight Plugins online selection offers a fix. You can search the database for the latest or best plugin right from your web browser.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your web browser and click the "Spotlight Plugins" link in Resources.

    • 2

Type "WordPerfect" into the search bar in the upper right-hand corner and hit "Enter."

    • 3

Open the result links one by one to find the WordPerfect plugin you want for Spotlight. As of June 2011, there is only one option -- the aptly named WordPerfect Spotlight Plug-in 1.0.2 -- but this could change as Apple adds, removes and updates plugins.
