How to Repair a Mozilla Firefox Crash

Mozilla Firefox is a Web browser that can be customized with a wide variety of plug-ins to enhance your Internet experience. Unfortunately, certain plug-ins can cause Firefox to crash. If you find that your browser is crashing repeatedly, you will need to run Firefox in safe mode. You can then identify the plug-in responsible for the erratic performance and either update it or remove it from your browser.

Click "Help" on the Firefox menu bar, located near the top of the browser window.

    • 2

Click "Restart with Add-ons Disabled" from the drop-down menu that opens.
