How do You Write From a Group on Facebook?
Facebook Groups lets you write messages to any group you are a member of by posting from that group's Wall section. By default, the other members of the group receive an alert to the existence and content of the new message, depending on their individual notification settings. If the administrator of the group has set the group to remain private, only its members see the message.

Tips & Warnings
In the old version of Facebook Groups, administrators could send private messages to everyone in the group, rather than post to the Wall. In the new version of Facebook Groups, administrators do not have that privilege, and all members must write to each other from the group's Wall. All members are notified of new posts by default, but individuals can decide whether to turn off those notifications. All group Wall posts appear by default when a member visits it directly.
