Connect the router to your cable modem through an ethernet cable. This plugs into the Internet port connection on the back of the router.

Open your web browser and go to the "WHR-G125" website at Buffalo-Technology.com. Click on the "Available Downloads" option. Click on the "Download" button under the "Firmwares" text.
