How to Convert NEFs to TIFFs for CS2
NEF files are RAW image formats used in most SLR Nikon cameras. TIFF files are a much larger size than NEF images and contains no quality loss or compression. The only way to use NEF files is to convert with them the free Nikon software. Adobe Photoshop CS2 does not support NEF files, but does support TIFF files. By converting these files, you are free to edit and modify your photos in Adobe Photoshop CS2.
