Cataclysm is the newest expansion for World of Warcraft

In late 2010, Blizzard released Cataclysm, the latest expansion to its hit online game World of Warcraft. In preparation for the upcoming expansion, Blizzard released the 4.0.1 patch to the game, which updated the world and implemented many of Cataclysm's drastic changes. One of those changes was the reset to the competitive PVP system. "Wrathful Gladiator" was the name assigned to items won through victory in Season 8 of the Arena PVP system. In Cataclysm, these rewards were moved to the Legacy Arena Weapons and Armor vendors and made available to anyone, even if you did not participate in Season 8.

Instructions

    • 1

Win Honor Points through PVP combat, either in the world or in Battlegrounds. You can win these points at any point from level 10 onward. Many players use the PVP system as a means to level and end up with a great surplus of Honor Points.

    • 2

Reach Level 80. If you are playing a character that has already reached 85, it is not recommended that you pursue the Wrathful Gladiator gear, as it is a "legacy" item that is outdated and much weaker than what you can earn at 85. However, you may still proceed if you simply wish to buy the gear for its appearance.

    • 3

Travel to Gadgetzan in Tanaris. Find the Legacy Armor Vendor named "Vixton Pinchwhistle" and Legacy Weapons Vendor, named "Blazzek the Biter." Both of these vendors are goblins.

    • 4

Purchase the armor and weapons you want for Honor Points. These items are very inexpensive; for example, most armor ranges from 140 to 175 Honor Points, with a few items even cheaper than that. For reference, the Vicious Gladiator armor, available at level 85, costs an average of 2,000 Honor Points per item.
