How to Remove Songs From OurStage
OurStage is an unsigned artist showcase and marketing platform powered by MTV. With over 80,000 songs and 75 genres of music, OurStage gives artists around the world the opportunity to sell their music and compete for records deals, cast prizes and lots of other perks. However, in order to compete, OurStage accounts and music uploads are required. Artist accounts make music uploading possible, but there are cases when users want to change the music showcased on their profile. Unfortunately, there is no manual action to conduct the song removal within the OurStage profile settings. Luckily, there is another internal method of removal that's actually much easier to complete without much work.

Go to the OurStage website (see Resources.)

Click "Login" in the upper-right button on the homepage. The site will redirect to the OurStage Existing Users' screen.

Type your OurStage email address and account password in the text forms. Click "Login." (See "Tips" for additional login alternatives.)

Click the "Contact Us" option on your account menu.

Provide a short email stating your request. Include the name of the song you want to remove.

Click "Submit" to send the song removal request to the OurStage Community team. Your email request will be sent to the OurStage Community team, and the change will be conducted internally. (Changes are not immediate. Song removal can take three to five business days, depending on the number of requests being handled by the OurStage team.)

Tips & Warnings
You can also log into OurStage using Facebook. Click the "F-Login" hyperlink button below the OurStage login text forms. When the Facebook login box pops up, enter your Facebook email address and password. The Facebook box will disappear, and OurStage will redirect to your account homepage.
Instead of removing the song entirely, you can also use the "Hide Media" option to stop the song from being played or displayed on your account profile. After logging in, click "Manage My Stuff." Click the editorial option next to the song you want to hide. Select the "Hide In My Stuff List," and then click "Save." This action removes the song from the profile. It will only be visible in your "My Stuff" folder.
Only songs that have never completed a channel competition can be deleted. If you want to remove a song, it has to be done before finals. Otherwise, the song is archived as a competition entry on the site after channel competitions.
Changes are not immediate. Song removal can take anywhere between 3 to 5 business days, depending on the number of requests being handled by the OurStage team.
