How to Share a Mobile Me Photo Gallery on Facebook

Facebook allows users to upload up to 200 photo albums.

As of June 2011, Facebook and Mobile Me services do not offer a feature to directly upload Mobile Me galleries to a Facebook profile. There is a work-around solution however. You can share Mobile Me photo galleries by downloading the gallery pictures to your computer, then uploading them to Facebook as a new photo album. This process can take quite some time depending upon the number photos within your gallery.

Instructions

1. Open a web browser on your computer. Navigate to the Mobile Me Gallery website at gallery.me.com. Enter your Mobile Me username and password into the designated fields. Click the "Sign In" button on the page.

2. Click the "Albums" tab on the left-panel of the gallery page. Click the album you want to share on Facebook.

3. Click the gallery's public link in the upper-right corner of the page. Click the "Download" button at the top of the new page. Wait for the download of the photo gallery to complete. Double-click the ZIP file that appears on your computer after the download has completed. The photo files will appear within the same folder as the ZIP package. Remember the location of this folder on your computer.

4. Navigate to the Facebook website at Facebook.com. Enter your username and password into the designated fields. Click the "Log In" button.

5. Click the "Photo" link at the top of the page. Click the "Create an Album" link. Click the "Select Photos" option. Navigate the browser window and select the photos you downloaded to your computer. Click the "Open" button. Type a name for your photo album and then click the "OK" button. The upload process may take some time to complete depending upon file sizes and the number of images.
