How to Use the Air Conditioners for a 2004 29-Foot BHS Jayco Travel Trailer
When camping in the hot summer months, it can be a relief to be able to sleep in your air-conditioned travel trailer. The air conditioning offers a comfortable atmosphere in which to sleep at night and take a break from the heat during the day. The 2004 Jayco 29BHS travel trailer offers an optional manufacturer-installed air conditioner for use when you are camping to help make your camping experience feel more like home.

1
Find the air conditioning unit on the ceiling inside your trailer. The unit is commonly found near the middle of the trailer to allow for better circulation throughout the trailer.
-
2
Turn the dial on the right to set the blower. Low fan and high fan simply circulate the air around the trailer without adding cooler air similar to using a fan. Low cool and high cool blow cold air like any other air conditioner. If you only want the air to turn on occasionally, choose the low option.

3
Turn the dial on the left to set your preferred temperature. A colored stripe that moves from thin to thick is printed on the side of the dial. The thicker the strip is, the cooler the air runs. Adjust this dial until you find the temperature that best suits you.
-
4
Rotate the dial to the "off" position when you are done using the air conditioner. If you do not turn the air conditioner off when you unplug the trailer, it will no longer run until you plug the trailer in again. However, this is not advised since it can create a surge when you plug the trailer in.
