Winnie the Pooh Crib Mobile Instructions
Create a mobile from Winnie the Pooh characters, and every time your baby wakes he will be greeted by his friend, Tigger. Kanga can watch over both your baby and Roo every night. Use small stuffed toys that match the drawings in the book for a traditional nursery or the colorful characters from the movie for a more contemporary room. Hang the toys on the frame from a commercially-made crib mobile to ensure your mobile is safe and sturdy. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Crib mobile
- Shears
- Fishing line
- Large sewing needle
- 5 small, Winnie the Pooh toys
Instructions
-
-
1
Remove the cords and ornaments from a crib mobile that contains ornaments hanging from cords.
-
2
Cut an 18-inch length of fishing line and thread a large sewing needle with it. Knot the end of the line.
-
-
3
Sew several large stitches through the top of a toy's head or the character's back. If you hang the toys from the top of their heads they will hang straight up and down. If you sew through their backs they will face the baby.
-
4
Add hanging cords to the other toys in the same way.
-
5
Tie the cords to the mobile frame. If the frame has holes run the cord through the holes and tie the cord around the edge so that the toys hang three inches from the frame. If the frame has hooks, tie a slip knot three inches from the toy, attach it over the hook and tighten it. Tie another knot to secure the cord. Cut off any excess cord one inch from the knot. If you cut it closer, the knot may come loose.
