How to Take Web Guards off of a Sidekick

T-Mobile's Web Guard feature blocks possible objectionable content on the phone's web browser. The feature blocks a wide variety of web content, including pornography, hate sites, and sites that reference violence, guns, gambling and tobacco. It only blocks web pages, not messages or user-generated content. All Sidekick monthly accounts are automatically activated with Web Guard enabled. You can disable Web Guard through the T-Mobile web site, or by contacting T-Mobile customer care.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your My T-Mobile account on the t-mobile.com web page.

    • 2

    • 4

Click "Turn OFF" under the "Web Guard Status" box.
