The Scorpion Deathlock is one of the most feared submission moves in pro wrestling.

The "Scorpion Deathlock" ranks as one of the most feared and devastating submission holds in the world of professional wrestling. The Scorpion Deathlock maneuver is but one of the patented finishing moves used by Sting during his long professional wrestling career. According to Jim Ross, famed pro wrestling commentator, the actual maneuver originated with another wrestler and was also used by Bret "The Hitman" Hart; Hart's maneuver is known as the "Sharpshooter." Whatever the origins or name, once the move is applied, the wrestling match is as good as over.
