How to Do Designs in Status Messages on Facebook
One way to keep in touch with your Facebook friends is to let them know what you are doing through status updates. If you want to include designs in your Facebook status messages, look no further than a Facebook app. Status Symbols is a Facebook app that allows you to incorporate hundreds of designs into your status message -- everything from chess pieces to heart-shaped bullets.

Navigate to the Facebook apps directory and then type "Status Symbols" into the search box.

Click "Status symbols" and then click "Go to app." Click "Allow" to install the app.

Type your status into the empty text box and then click any design or symbol below to enter it

Click "Set status." A Post to Your Wall pop up window will appear. Click "Publish" to post your status with the included designs.

To show more designs, click one of the design names at the bottom of the page. For example, click "Dingbats 3," "Lines & Geometric" or "Technical."
