How to Play Dot-to-Dot

Players take turns connecting dots to make squares. This simple game involves a lot of strategy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Pencils
• Pencil Sharpeners
• Pencils
• Spiral Notebooks
• Pencils

1. Fill a paper with evenly spaced rows of dots at least half an inch apart.

2. Take turns drawing lines connecting one dot to another with vertical or horizontal strokes.

3. Write your initial in the box each time you complete a square, and take another turn.

4. Continue playing until all the dots on the page are connected.

5. Count how many initials each player has on the page. The player with the most wins.

Tips & Warnings

• If you draw a line that creates two boxes, put your initial in both.
• Younger children may need hints about where to draw their lines.
• Make fewer dots for younger children and more dots for older children.
