Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Give every player a pencil and paper.

  2. Step 2

Have each player write his or her name at the top of the paper, with spaces between the letters so that words will fit underneath each letter in columns.

  3. Step 3

Instruct the players that they are to think of as many animals as possible whose names start with each letter in the name.

  4. Step 4

Set a time limit, such as 3 minutes, and have all players begin at the same time.

  5. Step 5

Declare the person with the most animals listed on the paper the winner.

  6. Step 6

Vary the game by having the players all use the same name when playing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have younger children use short names or nicknames to make the game easier.
  • Let older children use their full names, including middle names, to make the game challenging.
