How to Direct a Link From a Facebook Ad

Facebook's advertising program lets you run ads on one of the most popular sites on the Internet. The ads manager lets you easily create new ads or modify existing ads. There are two ways to direct link a Facebook ad. You can do so directly to a Facebook application or page you run, or you can direct link to an external website.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Facebook.com/advertisement and log in to your account. Click on "Manage Ads."

2. Click on the ad you want to create a direct link for. Click on "Edit."

3. Select the "Destination" arrow and choose "External URL." If you would prefer to direct link the ad to one of your Facebook pages or applications, select "Pages" or "Applications" then select the desired link.

4. Type the desired URL destination into the "URL" box, if using an external URL. Click on "Save" to save your changes.

Tips & Warnings

• If you have yet to create your ad, click on "Create an Ad." When you arrive at the ad creation screen, click on the "Destination" arrow and make your direct link choice.
