How to Save Songs on Tumblr

Tumblr allows you to share songs with readers.

Tumblr allows you to create a customized account through which you can post short, frequent updates that include text, images, links, videos and audio files. You can link to a song file hosted elsewhere on the Web, or you can upload and save a song on your Tumblr blog. Tumblr will only allow you to post one audio file per day, and it must be saved in MP3 format with a file size less than 10 megabytes.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Tumblr account to open your dashboard.

2. Click "Audio" from the white horizontal navigation bar.

3. Ensure the "Upload" tab is highlighted. Click "Browse" and go to where you have saved the song on your hard drive, desktop, or removable memory device.

4. Click "Open" to upload the song.

5. Add a description of the song or comments in the "Description" field, then click "Create post" to save and publish the post containing the song.
