How to Text in Korean

How to Text in Korean thumbnail
The language settings on your phone are shared between all programs and menus.

In order to create texts in any language your phone must have a compatible input device and a language packet. Most phones in the United States come with a QWERTY-keyboard featuring the Roman alphabet and font support for U.S. English. Some phones, such as smartphones and high-end messaging phones, can be programmed to display additional languages such as Hangul, the official written language of Korea. Some touchscreen phones offer the advantage of a native, on-screen keyboard which allows you to input text in a non-Roman, featural alphabet.
