How to Import Favorites From IE8 to Linux Mint 9
Linux Mint 9, based on Ubuntu Linux 10.04, includes the Mozilla Firefox Web browser. If you're switching from Microsoft Windows to Linux Mint, you can export your favorites from Internet Explorer 8 on your Windows computer and import them into Mozilla Firefox on your Linux Mint computer. Internet Explorer exports favorites as a standard .html file that Mozilla Firefox can import. You can access your Internet Explorer favorites in Mozilla Firefox's bookmarks menu after importing them.
