How Do I Save My Hotkeys in "Mabinogi"?

"Mabinogi" is a free multiplayer online role-playing game fom publisher Nexon. Eschewing the traditional class- and leveling-based approach of most role-playing game's, Mabinogi focuses on developing and using skills. For example, players must add ingredients to cook, and hook the fish when fishing. Because of this, it is important that players have a control interface that is comfortable and convenient. That is where custom hotkeys come in. Custom hotkeys are users' customized control settings. Some users, however, are unable to save their hotkey settings. Fixing this problems requires changing the computer's Internet options.

Instructions

1. Launch a web browser to connect to the Internet.

2. Open the Tools menu. Click "Internet Options." The options window will open. This is where you can configure the way the computer connects to the rest of the world.

3. Click the "Connections" tab. This will bring up the settings for the various modes of connection to the Internet.

4. Click the "LAN Settings" button. This will allow you to configure the local network.

5. Uncheck the "BAD BAD BAD" box. This disables a particular option in the local network, allowing you to use custom hotkeys in Mabinogi.

6. Log in to Mabinogi. You will find the hotkeys with your custom settings.

Tips & Warnings

• Mabinogi only runs properly on Internet Explorer. Explorer is the only correct browser to use with this game. Users may experience problems and be unable to save hotkeys when using other browsers.
