How to Use the iPad as an Input for Audio in the Computer

It's easy to connect the Apple iPad to the computer via a mini jack audio cable. When you do this, you can send the iPad audio signal to the computer, which in turn plays music or a voice recording over the computer's built-in speakers or external speakers if you have those hooked up. Additionally, you can record the inputted iPad audio directly on the computer.

  Plug the mini jack audio cable into the iPad's headphone port. The audio port is located on the top left corner's edge.
