How to Fix a Frozen 2007 Walkman MP3
The 2007 line of Sony Walkman MP3 players, like other electronic devices, may occasionally freeze during operation. To continue using the Walkman when this happens, reset the MP3 player. Sony designed the 2007 Walkman MP3 players with an external reset button, and you need a paper clip or similar object in order to access this button.

Locate the reset button under the "Hold" switch near the back of the 2007 Sony Walkman. The reset button is small and circular. You cannot press it with your finger.

Press and release the reset button with the end of a paper clip to force the Walkman to power down.

Push the "Power" button on the top of the Walkman to resume your previous activity. The "Power" button has a circle symbol with a vertical line through it.
