How to Get Pandora on an Intercom
Pandora is Internet radio you can customize based on your musical preferences. If your home intercom system is equipped with auxiliary ports, you can enjoy Pandora on your intercom by using the audio from your laptop computer. Simply plug the computer into the intercom system and you'll be enjoying your favorite Pandora stations in every room of your home.

1
Set up your laptop computer close where the intercom base is located. If the intercom base is located near your desktop computer, you may use that instead of a laptop.
-
2
Plug the mini-jack end of the connector to the headphone jack of the computer. Plug the RCA end of the connector into the "Aux" ports. Bogen intercoms have these ports on the rear of the control panel, but other brands may vary.
-
-
3
Log into your Pandora account or create a new one. Select the station you want to broadcast over the intercom system.
-
4
Move the speaker selector switches on the front panel in the "Up" or "A" position for the rooms that are to receive the audio. Again, your brand or model may vary slightly in the placement or naming of these switches.
-
5
Press the "Aux" button under "Program Distribution" on the front control panel, or wherever it is located on your system. This enables the audio from the computer to play through the intercom.
-
6
Turn the "Program" knob clockwise to increase the volume at the individual speakers if you have a Bogen system. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to decrease the volume. If your brand is different, look for a volume button or knob to control the sound level.
