How to Open a PayPal Account for Malaysians
PayPal is an online service that allows you to send and receive money from PayPal account holders around the world. If you are living in Malaysia, you can open a personal PayPal account to pay for purchases online. Malaysian PayPal account holders also have the option to withdraw PayPal funds to a bank account or a credit card. You can open your PayPal account by filling out a simple form on the PayPal website.

Use any Web browser to go to PayPal.com.

Click the "Sign Up" link located on the upper right-corner of the PayPal website.

Click the drop-down menu under "Your Country or Region" and select "Malaysia." Next, click the "Get Started" button under the "Personal" section.

Enter your email address, name, date of birth, address and phone number into the relevant fields.

Enter a password for your PayPal account into both the "Choose a Password" and "Re-enter Password" fields.

Choose your nationality using the menu under "Nationality." You do not have to be a Malaysian citizen to open a Malaysian PayPal account.

Click the "Agree and Create Account" button to open your Malaysian PayPal account. Click the "Go to My Account" link on the following screen to go to your PayPal account.

Tips & Warnings
You must verify your PayPal account to remove any sending or withdrawal limits. Click the "Link and Confirm My Credit Card" link under the "Notifications" zone on your PayPal account and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the verification process.
