How to Play "Bakugan" Without a Guidebook
"Bakugan" is a hybrid between a board game and card game. In a game of "Bakugan," two players compete to capture special Gate cards. The first player to capture all of the Gate cards wins the match. "Bakugan" is different from many board games because in addition to the card elements of play, you must also roll small Bakugan creatures into the battlefield. The rules of the game are relatively simple, even if you cannot find your guidebook.
Instructions

1
Give three Bakugan, three Gate cards and three Ability cards to each player. Every player should have one Gate card of each color.
-
2
Sit across from your opponent, leaving about three feet for gameplay. Play on a flat surface to ensure your Bakugans roll with accuracy.
-
-
3
Announce "Field Open!" to alert your opponent you are ready. Begin the game when he does the same.
-
4
Place one of your Gate cards in the middle of the field, face down. Your opponent should do the same, and place her card so the tops of the cards are touching. You should both say, "Gate Card Set!" to make the move formal.
-
5
Roll one of your Bakugans across the field onto the Gate cards. If your Bakugan misses, it's the other player's turn. If it opens on a card, the other player should roll. If his Bakugan opens on the same card as yours, you must enter battle.
-
6
Remove the Bakugans from the contested card and read each creature's G-Power. Flip the Gate card and follow its instructions then use Ability cards to boost your power. At the end of the turn, whichever Bakugan has the highest G-Power wins the card.
-
7
Continue playing until one player wins three Gate cards.

Tips & Warnings
If your Bakugan opens on the same card as another one of your Bakugans from a previous roll, the card is automatically yours.
