How to Brew Genmaicha Green Tea

Genmaicha is a Japanese tea produced by mixing green tea with roasted brown rice. The Japanese brew the genmaicha mixture into a richly flavored tea. Poor peasants in Japan once drank genmaicha because the rice acted as a filler added to the more expensive green tea. The tea has a rich taste that combines the leafy flavor of the tea leaves and the toasted aroma of the rice. Does this Spark an idea?
