How to Cancel a Download on an iPod Touch

An iPod touch is perfect for those who need a pocket-sized computing device.

The iPod touch sports a feature set that is far more extensive than the original iPod. It includes Wi-Fi support, a camera, calendar and Web browser. It can be extended even more by downloading and installing iPod applications from the Internet. In early versions of the iPod touch, a download could not be canceled once it was started. Use the iPod touch's touchscreen to cancel a large download quickly and easily.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Download" icon once if you want to cancel the download now and resume the download at a later time.

2. Touch the "Download" icon and hold your finger on the icon until the icon stops moving.

3. Tap the "X" in the download icon, and then tap the "Delete" button if you wish to cancel the download and not resume the download at a later time.
