How to Install Zbot in "Counter-Strike"

Z-Bot is a mod for the popular computer game "Counter-Strike 1.6" made by the Z-Bot Brothers. In "Counter-Strike," Z-Bot allows you to add computer controlled opponents, known as bots. Z-Bot gives you a high degree of control over the bots including the ability to adjust difficulty levels, weapons, controls and navigation command. By following directions, you can quickly install Z-Bot in "Counter-Strike" and play it right away.

  • Download Z-Bots from FilePlanet. Click on "Download Now" to start the download process.

  • Navigate to the downloaded file and double-click on it and select "Extract." Extract the file to your desktop, for easy finding. A folder labeled "cstrike" will be left on your desktop.

  • Navigate to your hard drive folder. Open up the "Program Files" folder, then click on "Steam." Click on the folder with your registered email at Steam and open the "Counter-Strike" folder.

  • Right-click on the "cstrike" folder on your desktop and click on "Cut."

  • Right click in the "Counter-Strike" folder and select "Paste." Select "Replace all Files" when prompted. Z-Bot installation is now complete. From inside a "Counter-Strike" game, press "H" to open up the Z-Bot menu.
