How to Turn on Java Script for YouTube

YouTube allows you to view an unlimited number of videos, however, the website requires JavaScript to work properly. If your Web browser cannot display YouTube videos, you must enable JavaScript. Your computer may vulnerable to certain types of malware while JavaScript is turned on.

Instructions

Internet Explorer

1. Click "Start," type "Internet Options" and press "Enter."

2. Click the "Security" tab and the click the "Custom Level" button.

3. Scroll down to the "Scripting" section.

4. Click the radio button next to "Scripting of Java Applets."

5. Click "OK."

Google Chrome

1. Click the "Customize and Control Google Chrome" icon on the upper-right corner of the Google Chrome window.

2. Click "Options."

3. Click the "Under the Hood" option.

4. Click the "Content Settings" button next to "Privacy."

5. Click the radio button next to "Allow all Sites to Run JavaScript."

Firefox

1. Click the "Firefox" tab on the top-left side of the Firefox window.

2. Point to "Options" and then click "Options."

3. Click the tab labeled "Content."

4. Check the box next to "Enable JavaScript."

5. Click "OK."
