How Can I View My Photos I Burned Onto a DVD From My Laptop?

Once you have burned files onto a DVD or other disk, you can quickly access the files by using the Windows Explorer utility in your operating system. If you burned digital photos or videos onto a DVD, you can open them right from the optical disk without having to first copy the files back onto your computer's hard drive.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the burned DVD into the optical drive on the computer.

    • 2

Click "Start" and click "Computer." Double-click the "Disc Drive" icon to access the files on the DVD.

    • 3

Double-click a photo file, and it will open on your computer with the application that is set as the default image viewer.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your laptop does not have a DVD drive, you'll need an external DVD drive that you connect via a USB port.
