Instructions

1. Run the "Alien Skin Eye Candy" installer. The license agreement will appear. Thoroughly read through the agreement then check the box labeled "I agree to the terms and License." Click "Next."

2. Minimize the "Alien Skin Eye Candy" installer. Click the Windows "Start" button located in the bottom left corner of the screen. A menu will appear. Click "Control Panel." A new window will appear. Click "System and Maintenance" to bring up a set of options. Click "System." A window displaying information pertaining to your computer will appear. Check the operating details for your computer for the "Binary Digit." Your computer will be running at 32- or 64-bit. Record the information into your notepad.

3. Maximize the "Alien Skin Eye Candy" installer. Check the box that corresponds to the information you found in step 2. For example, if your computer is 32-bit select the box labeled "Install 32-bit Plug-In."

4. Click the "Browse" button located to the right of the blank "Plug-In" field. The folder browser will appear. Locate the "Photoshop Elements 4" application folder then click "OK." You will be redirected back to the previous window. Click "Next." The installer will begin installing the program. Once complete click "Finish" located in the bottom right corner of the window.

5. Restart your computer. Once your computer is restarted Alien Skin Eye Candy can be accessed from within Photoshop Elements 4.
