How to Quit a Group on Meetup.com

If you find that its activities no longer correspond to your present professional goals and interests or if you have difficulty communicating or socializing with members, you can leave a Meetup group to prevent its organizer from sending you any more messages. Meetup is a website which allows its users to join groups, which are small communities of people living in the same geographical area. Groups can then meet in real life, at events known as "meetups," to participate in various activities. You can leave a Meetup group by visiting your Meetup account page.

Open your Web browser and visit the Meetup homepage. Log in to Meetup by using your username and password, if necessary.
