How to Put a Music Player in Your Description on Tumblr
The Tumblr blogging platform provides a collection of tools you can use to display and share information with your Tumblr blog readers. One tool that Tumblr does not provide, however, is a built-in music player. You can extend the functionality of Tumblr using widgets, which can be downloaded from various websites. Widgets are easy to install on your Tumblr blog -- you simply use the "Custom HTML" option and paste the widget code from the music player's website.

Copy the code for a music player widget from a service such as Flash MP3 Player or Last.fm to your Windows clipboard. Select the code, then press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys on your keyboard simultaneously to copy the code.

Log in to your Tumblr blog.

Click "Customize."

Scroll down through the HTML document that appears until you find this snippet of code:

Paste the widget code that you copied earlier directly below the "div" tag that you located in Step 4. Position the cursor at the desired location and then press "Ctrl" and "V" together. The code is pasted into the document. Save your new blog layout.
