How to Convert .Wmv to .Flv With Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe Premiere Pro includes many tools for importing, editing and exporting videos from your computer or captured from recording devices. It supports Windows Media Video, or WMV, files created in other applications and lets you export the video using many formats, including MPEG, QuickTime, AVI and Flash Video, or FLV. You can use Adobe Premiere Pro to convert WMV files to the FLV format for use on the Web or for use in other Adobe applications.

Launch Adobe Premiere Pro and click "New Project" on the "Welcome to Adobe Premiere Pro" screen. Type a name for your new project next to "Name" on the "New Project" dialog and then click "OK." Click "Cancel" on the "New Sequence" screen.

Click the "File" menu and click "Import." Locate your WMV file in the dialog box and click "Open." This adds the video to your project so that you can export it using the desired format. Drag your video from the "Project" pane on the left side of Premiere Pro to the "Source" pane to the right of the "Project" pane. Perform any necessary video-editing tasks before proceeding to convert the video.

Click the "File" menu and then click "Export" followed by "Media." This brings up the Export Settings dialog. Select "FLV" from the "Format" drop-down list under the "Export Settings" section on the right side of the window. Select the desired video quality preset from the "Preset" drop-down list, including options for mobile, Web or desktop video qualities. If you wish to use any advanced audio and video settings, select your options on the "Audio" and "Video" tabs below the "Export Settings" section.

Click the "Export" button on the bottom of the window. Adobe Premiere Pro then converts the file and exports it to the folder that contains the original video.
