How to Get Rid of Spam in Chat on Yahoo! Email
Yahoo! Mail lets you use a version of Yahoo! Messenger when signed in to your account. Anyone who knows your Yahoo! ID can send you chat messages. You can respond to those messages, ignore them or block them. When you a block a user, Yahoo! uses that action to help determine whether that user is a spammer. The more often a spammer gets blocked, the more likely that user's account will be suspended or terminated. You can help rid Yahoo! Mail of chat spam by making a habit of blocking spammers one at a time.
