How to Broadcast PC on Ustream

Ustream is a website that allows you to view various live streams from other Ustream users around the globe. Once you create a Ustream account, you can set up your own stream and begin broadcasting within minutes -- all you need is a webcam. Many modern laptops come with built-in webcams; if your laptop does not, you can purchase a USB webcam from any computer store.

Instructions

1. Direct your browser to the Ustream sign-up page -- a link is provided in the Resources section. Fill in your details and click "Create My Account."

2. Connect your webcam to a free USB port and wait for any missing drivers to load -- once this process is complete, a notification will appear above the system tray.

3. Log in to Ustream and click "Start Broadcasting." Type in a name for your broadcast session and click "Create."

4. Click "Allow" when asked for permission to access your webcam.

5. Click "Start Broadcast" to begin streaming live.
